I was lucky enough to get to go on a grant-funded trip to Idaho, Wyoming, and Montana with the Visual Arts Department. We didn't get a lot of time for sketching and painting because it was snowing the whole time, but here are some of the photos I took:

So, Once upon a Time I Took a Head Painting Class...
I promised more heads would come, and here they are--finally! Better late than never!
I put them roughly in the order I painted them.
Man, do I love head painting! Too bad it's so hard to make a living off portraits.
